Workshop on Timetable Construction

Workshop on Time Table construction was conducted in the Department of Education, Patna Women’s College Autonomous on 29th July, 2024 for the third semester teacher trainees of session 2023-25. Ms. Swati Shilpi, Assistant Professor, Department of Education was the resource person. She emphasized on the fact that time table construction is a critical task that requires careful planning and coordination to ensure the smooth functioning of the institution, optimize resource utilization, and accommodate the needs of both students and faculty. She instructed the students the principles of time table construction, factors which influence it, merits and demerits of a good timetable and its types. Later on she instructed students that they have to construct a master time table of allotted schools during their internship tenure. During this workshop, trainees mastered the skill of crafting schedules that maximize learning time, integrate co-curricular activities, and ensure seamless transitions between subjects.
