Workshop on Action Research

On 7th August, 2024, a Workshop on Action Research was conducted for third semester students (session 2023-25), in the Department of Education, Patna Women’s College Autonomous. Dr. Shubhra, Assistant Professor of the Department was the resource person for the event. The first half of the workshop elaborated on the need, importance and characteristics of different types of academic research with special impetus on Action Research. Dr. Shubhra dealt with the application of the concept by the trainee students in the form of executing an Action Research in the various schools where they would be pursuing their internship. She succinctly explained the elements and processes involved in conducting the research in educational institutions.
