The Department of Education, Patna Women’s College, organized a visit to SCERT for the first-year teacher trainees. It took place from 14th to 19th November 2019, in which the trainees were sent to SCERT in two groups. The Objectives of the programme were:

- To develop an understanding of the functioning and role of SCERT in school education.
The visit proved to be fruitful in several ways as the teacher trainees not only became familiar with the institution but also understood the manner in which SCERT works for developing the education system of Bihar. The esteemed faculty at the institution shared valuable information, such as the various programs organized to enhance the potential of teachers and update them about innovations in the teaching methods. The visit helped them get to know about the nitty-gritty of SCERT and the work carried out by them behind the scenes to ensure the smooth functioning of the school system.
