Teachers’ Day was celebrated with immense enthusiasm and energy in the Department of Education, Patna Women’s College Autonomous on 5th September 2024. The event began with the lighting of the lamp by the teachers and a prayer service led by Alaiza Thakur, a third-semester student. Khushboo Rani, from the first semester, created a peaceful ambiance with her graceful prayer dance. Shambhavi (third semester) brought laughter to the hall with her self-composed poem dedicated to the teachers of the department. To add a fun element, students organized engaging games like the bangle game, passing the pillow, and balloon games for the teaching and non-teaching staff. These activities were coordinated by third-semester students Sushma Singh, Anshika Rani, Ankita Pandey, and Sneha Rani. Alaiza and Bhanu captivated the audience with their soulful rendition of the song “Tu Jo Mila…,” creating a heartwarming atmosphere. Further enhancing the program, first-semester students Kalyani Kumari and Deepika Rani shared their self-composed poems. Sana Fatima (third semester) flawlessly anchored the event. Dr. Prabhas Ranjan concluded the program with an inspiring speech, thanking the students for their efforts and encouraging them to strive for excellence, noting that even in the age of AI, teachers will always be a guiding light in students’ lives.The event concluded with a vote of thanks, delivered by Shagufta Afreen (third semester).
