Department of Education, Patna Women’s College organised an Inter-school Collage Making Competition for the school students on 10th August 2019. Fifty students from thirteen schools participated in the competition. The participating schools were: Bishop Scott Girls School, Patna; Carmel High School, Patna; Delhi Public School, Patna; Leed’s Asian School, Patna; Litera Valley School. Patna; Loyola High School, Patna; Mount Litera Zee School, Bihta; Mount Litera Zee School, Motihari; Prarambhika, Patna; Radiant International School, Patna; St. Michael High School, Patna; St. Paul’s Academy, Patna; St. Paul’s High School, Patna.
The theme of the competition was ‘Our Cultural Heritage’. The program started with lightening the lamp. followed by a patriotic song ‘Teri Mitti’ showing tribute to our soldiers. The Head and Dean of the Department of Education, Dr Upasana Singh welcomed the gathering and gave a brief agenda on the rules and regulation.
The result was as follows:
Delhi Public School, Patna bagged the first prize. Leed’s Asian School, Patna bagged the second prize, Radiant International School, Patna got the consolation prize.
The beautiful journey ended with the vote of thanks proposed by Prishita Akanchha.
