The Formal Inauguration of the new B. Ed. session 2024-26 took place on 31st August 2024, in the Department of Education, Patna Women’s College Autonomous. Dr. Sister M. Tanisha A.C., the esteemed Vice Principal of Patna Women’s College and Sister Jincy, Superior, Avila Convent, graced the occasion and formally inaugurated the new batch. The esteemed guests were welcomed by Dr. Madhumita, Assistant Professor, Department of Education. Through the Pencil Parable, relayed by Dr. Rashmi Sinha and Dr. Nitu Chauhan, Assistant Professors of the department, the students learned the significance of resilience and continuous self-improvement. Dr. Sister M. Tanisha A.C. inspired the students to embrace their potential as teachers and encouraged them to become like the woodcutter who always sharpened his axe in his free time; similarly the students should also make effort to sharpen their skills, with all the tools provided to them by the department. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Madhumita, expressing gratitude for the enriching experience.
