The Department of Education, Patna Women’s College Autonomous, participated in Fr. Jacob Memorial Inter College Sports Meet – 2023, organised by St. Xavier’s College of Education on 12th and 13th May 2023. In total eight participants (session 2022-24) participated in two events, carrom and chess.
In Carrom, Megha Bharti reached the quarter-final round and Jyoti Kumari played the semi-final round. The other participants in carrom were Shalini Kumari and Jaya Kumari Rai.
In Chess, all the four participants; Nazia Rizwan, Nidhi Kumari, Archana and Nishu Kumari did extremely well. Archana was declared the winner in the Chess (Women) category. She has set an excellent example showcasing that success can be achieved through concentration, discipline and perseverance.
