The Department of Education, Patna Women’s College Autonomous, organized an educational field visit to the College of Arts and Crafts, Patna University, on 8th and 9th May 2026 for Semester II students (2025-27). The visit was guided by Mohan Kumar Sir.

Students attended an interactive session on Graphic Printmaking conducted by Dev Priya, a fourth-year BFA student, who introduced processes such as Relief, Intaglio, Silkscreen, and Lithography. They also visited the Painting Department, where Assistant Professor, Mr. Chandbhushan Srivastava explained the structure and specializations of the BFA programme.

At the Sculpture Department, students observed a live demonstration of sculpture-making on the wheel by Rajneesh, a sixth-semester student, gaining insight into traditional artistic techniques.

The visit provided valuable exposure to various forms of visual arts and concluded with a vote of thanks by Tanya Patel, Prefect of the Department of Education.
