The Department of Education, Patna Women’s College (Autonomous), organised a plantation drive titled “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” for B.Ed. students on 15 October 2026 under Special Campaign 6.0.

As part of the initiative, students planted saplings at their homes, expressing their commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable living. The activity encouraged them to nurture a plant with the care given to a child, recognising that, as it grows into a tree, it can care for and sustain others like a mother.

The drive aimed to promote greenery, encourage individual responsibility towards nature and create awareness about the importance of protecting the environment.
