The students of the Department of Education, Patna Women’s College, conducted research under the “College with Potential for Excellence” (CPE) Scheme, UGC 2021. The event was held on 2nd February 2021 to 5th February, 2021. The Objectives of the programme were: 

Objectives: 

  • To inculcate research skills among the students.
  • To enrich students’ knowledge about Scientific Methods and Approaches
  • To develop sensitiveness towards social problems and instil curiosity and spirit of Discovery

The Area Coordinator of the event was Dr. Upasana Singh, Head and Dean of the Department of Education, PWC, from the B.Ed. Department three groups participated. The topic of the first group was ‘A Study on Emerging Technologies in Media and their impact on the Performing Arts’. The topic of the second group was ‘Virtual versus Traditional Mode of Teaching: A Comparative Study of B.Ed.’. The participants were required to present their papers, and they also had a cross-questioning round by the eminent judges. The program ended with the address by the judges and a vote of thanks.
