A group of students from the Department of Education, Patna Women’s College Autonomous participated in the Carol Singing Competition on 16th December, 2023 organized by Patna Women’s College Autonomous. The chief guest and jury members of the competition were Reverend Father Josey Mathais, S.J. Director Prabhat Prakashan, Reverend Father Kuldeep, Arch Bishop’s House, and Mr. Alok John, Dean National-International Collaboration and Consultancy Services, Patna Women’s College Autonomous. This competition aimed to celebrate the spirit of Christmas and showcase the musical talents of students while spreading joy and cheer throughout the college campus.
There were twelve groups of students participating in the Hindi Carol Competition. Our group consisted of fifteen members from both first and third semesters namely- Sonali Singh, Annie Murmu, Sr. Velcima D’Souza, Khushboo Soni, Aliya Khurshid, Riya Sunny, Taj Ara Shagufta, Paulina Hembrom, Poonam Hembrom, Priyanka Hansda, Shruti Shree, Shalini Kumari, Sushmita Murmu, Sidrah Warsi, and Sr. Sarita Dang. The group captivated the audience with their melodious rendition of ‘Bethlehem main chamka sitara’, and bagged the third place.
