The Department of Education, Patna Women’s College Autonomous, organized a workshop on Bloom’s Taxonomy for Semester II students of session 2023-25 on 9th January 2024. The resource person for the session was Dr. Rashmi Sinha, Assistant Professor, Department of Education, Patna Women’s College Autonomous. The workshop aimed to familiarize the students with Bloom’s Taxonomy, its significance in education, and its practical applications in instructional design and assessment strategies.
The workshop began with an overview of Bloom’s Taxonomy, highlighting its levels – Remembering, Understanding, Applying, Analyzing, Evaluating, and Creating, and their significance in educational planning. The workshop was a valuable and enlightening experience for the students, equipping them with practical insights and strategies to enhance their teaching methodologies.
