The Department of Education, Patna Women’s College, organized a Blood Donation Camp on 5th February, 2020. The Objectives of the programme were:
Objectives:
- To learn the significance of donating blood
- To instil values of empathy, compassion, kindness and humility in students
- To develop awareness towards the noble cause of donating blood and saving lives
The Blood Donation Camp was organized for the noble cause of donating blood to be used in emergency cases to save lives. The trainees from the Department of Education came forward voluntarily. They visited the camp and got themselves tested first to ensure their suitability to donate blood. After careful examination of their health and physical conditions, they contributed to the virtuous act of donating blood which would help save lives in future.
