Department of Education, Patna Women’s College organized a visit to “Apna Ghar” school on 6th September, 2018. The Objectives of the programme were:
Objectives:
- To learn about the problems of disadvantaged children.
- To sensitize the students towards the various social and educational issues related to special children.
The teacher trainees visited the school to provide service learning to special children. The event started with some activities prepared by the trainees for a little enjoyment and also to create some academic interest in the children. They also examined all the provisions provided in the school for differently-abled students and surveyed the disabilities among the students and the environment while communicating with the students. Thereafter, the trainees donated storybooks and various other learning support materials to the children as a gesture of goodwill and brotherhood.
