In a resounding effort to foster a safe and welcoming academic environment, the Department of Education, Patna Women’s College Autonomous, organised an Anti-Ragging Slogan Writing and Display Competition on 17th of August, 2023, guided by the unwavering vision of the Head Dr. Sister M Saroj A.C. and under the able coordination of Ms. Yamini, Cultural Coordinator. This initiative underscores the institution’s commitment to eradicate ragging and to cultivate healthy relationships among students.
The slogan writing competition served as a platform for students to voice their thoughts against ragging creatively. Through impactful and thought-provoking slogans, participants conveyed the importance of a harmonious campus atmosphere that promotes respect, empathy, and a sense of camaraderie among all students. The competition invited young minds to come forward with their innovative ideas and compelling words to inspire change.
The discerning eyes of Dr. Prabhas Ranjan, a member of the Anti-ragging Committee and Dr. Nitu Chauhan, Assistant Professor, Department of Education, Patna Women’s College Autonomous, expertly assessed the entries.
The first place was bagged by Shrishti, Mita Raj secured the second place and the third place was won by Nisha Jha. The students were also provided certificates for their endeavours.
In the end, this competition visually captured the essence of a ragging-free campus. It exhibited students’ artistic talents by creating eye-catching displays that resonated with the emotions, reinforcing the message of unity and respect.
