The Department of Education, Patna Women’s College hosted a sports meet on 4th March, 2021. The Objectives of the programme were:
- To expose the learners to the process of organizing sports events
- To inculcate the sportsperson spirit of Teamwork and Coordination.
A melodious welcome song by the students honoured the arrival of the esteemed guests and audience. Sports activities soon kicked off with Races of 50 m and 100 m, Book-balancing race, Shuttle race, Sack race, Dress yourself Race and Relay Race. The ground was blazing with high energy and vigour. Each team strove to give its best. The occasion was marked with the spirit of healthy competition and vitality that radiated joy in the audience. Finally, the prize distribution began, and all the winners were awarded Trophies and Medals. Prizes for indoor games such as Badminton, Carrom, Chess, and Table Tennis were also distributed. The event concluded with snack distribution and beaming faces all around.
