The Department of Education, Patna Women’s College hosted a sports meet on 29th January 2020. The Objectives of the programme were:
- To expose the learners to the process of organizing sports events
- To inculcate the sportsperson spirit of Teamwork and Coordination.
The programme started with the hoisting of the college flag by the Principal, Dr. Sr. M. Rashmi A.C.. A march past was performed by students as an opening ceremony, followed by a melodious welcome song. The Sports events were addressed by the principal. A series of races were held, including the shuttle race, sack race, spoon lemon race, three-legged race, dress yourself, and relay race. A beautiful ‘Sunflower drill’ was performed by the students, which expressed their inner beauty and positivity. This was followed by a Yoga Drill spreading the message of healthy living. Prize distribution was done for winners in various indoor and outdoor games.. Again, a closing ceremony of March past was performed by students, and they were given refreshments.
