Science and Maths Club took an initiative to organize an Aids Awareness Programme for the teacher trainees of the 4th Semester in order to educate them about terminal sickness. The Objectives of the programme were:

Objectives:

  • To learn about the signs and symptoms of AIDS
  • To build awareness about the causes of AIDS, the preventive measures, and the right ways to cope with it and counsel patients
  • To develop sensitivity towards the need to make others aware of the highly degenerative illness, AIDS

The resource person, Miss Sneha, Alumni of the Department, comprehensively elaborated upon its causes, preventive measures, and right ways to cope with it and counselled patients to follow a satisfying and guilt-free lifestyle. The trainees had an interactive session where they cleared their doubts and apprehensions about the disease in a comfortable environment.
