A comprehensive assessment of Patna Women’s College Autonomous was conducted by a three-member team from the National Assessment Accreditation Council (NAAC). The team was chaired by Prof. Vinita Hooda from Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak, Prof. Balkrishan Sangvikar of Savitribai Phule Pune University, as Member-Coordinator; and Prof. Zokaitluangi I of Mizoram University as a Member. During the two-day assessment, the team evaluated various aspects, including facilities, committees, and academic standards of the college. The first day comprised presentations by college officials, departmental tours, and interactions with stakeholders like parents, alumni, and students. The team also stopped by the Department of Education, Patna Women’s College Autonomous, where teaching aids, models, examples of experiential learning, and best practices were exhibited. The day concluded with an Academic Exhibition and cultural performances.
A wave of exhilaration filled the whole college campus, when the NAAC awarded Grade ‘A++’, a high accreditation.
